Tornadoes

Ok, so for those of you not in Iowa City (aka everyone) let me inform you about a crazy night last night.

So we were having a "Happy Night" on our floor with relaxation exercises and stuff and the sirens went off. It was 88 degrees all day and i was laying out by the river that very afternoon.

So we all had to go to the basement of Daum and sat around for about 2 hours. My friend Kim who is from Iowa City was on the phone with her mom who saw the tornado outside her window (her house was fine, it was still pretty far off). My friend Rachel saw it and ran inside. Supposedly two tornadoes touched down in the downtown area. Stephanie, remember when we went to the Old Capital Mall? and where we went for Lunch? A block further south, the tornado hit. It was so scary. Classes were canceled today which was pretty sweet but so many people are without homes and power.
